FORMATS WE HANDLE
Personal-CD can deal with the following formats. Other formats can also be accepted, but extra time might be required for us to find suitable playback equipment.
Analogue: Records
All disc formats, between 16 and 100 rpm. Selection of cartridges and stylii sizes to suit all records manufactured since the turn of the century.
Analogue: Tape

RCA 8 track
1/4" - ALL SPEEDS 1 7/8 - 30 IPS. FULL TRACK, 1/2 TRACK, 1/4 TRACK AND 4 TRACK MONO/STEREO FORMATS.
1/2" 8 track
VHS audio
Note: We have a solution to the 'sticky shed' problem which plagues so many tape recordings of the 1970's and 80's. If you have a tape which exhibits this problem, DO NOT TRY AND PLAY IT!!! Send it to us and we will recover as much information as is left.

Software
Digital signal processing (compression, expansion, equalisation, etc.) FFT filters, noise reduction, impulse noise reduction. We run application software from all the major software houses and are constantly evaluating and introducing new software as the technology improves.
