RECORD CLEANING KITS

We have often been asked if we can supply a kit for cleaning records.... and here they are!

In fact, there are two kits available. One is for use on vinyl records (all LP's, EP's and 45 rpm Singles) and the other for Shellac based records (nearly all 78 rpm records). The kits are almost exactly the same, the only difference being the cleaning solution used. If you clean a shellac record with the vinyl kit, you will do more harm than good, although you can clean a vinyl record (using the shellac system) without damage - it's just not as efficient.

Each version of the kit contains the following items;
  • 125 ml Cleaning solution (Blue for Vinyl or Red for Shellac)

  • 250 ml Rinsing solution

  • Cleaning Pad handle

  • Two cleaning pads

  • Two drying cloths

  • Carbon Fibre brush

  • Instructions in English, Spanish and French

  • Prices



Depending on how dirty the records are, you should be able to clean between 50 and 100 sides with the contents of the kit. We can also supply extra bottles of the cleaning and rinsing solutions and spare pads separately.
